I began my day submitting the medicaids for two paitents I covered for tuesday. One of whom is going to a skilled nursing facility (paitent was homeless prior) This was great news and I loved getting to make this difference for someone. Especially due to my previous work with the homeless community in Birmingham.

I continued to make rounds throught the day with my supervisor. I drafted an MD letter for a paitent. I charted for several paitents who family members we contacted for finacial records for Guardian/Conservator purposes and medicaid. I also drafted a medicaid that we are awaiting for a paitents sister to give us a call back for. I also worked with my supervisor to get a paitents contract for inpaitent rehab submitted. This involved working with the post acute care team and having to communicate with varying professionals.
